April kicks off with something we all need—time to rest, reset, and recharge—hello, spring break! Spring naturally brings a sense of renewal—longer days, warmer weather (sometimes), and new energy—which makes it a good time to check in with ourselves and those around us. April brings some great reminders along with it—it’s Stress Awareness Month, which makes it the perfect time to take a step back from the day-to-day, focus on yourself, build healthy coping skills, and keep self-care a priority (especially as things get busy). It’s also National School Library Month, a great reminder that the library can be a calm, supportive space to learn, recharge, or just take a breather during the day.

As you enjoy spring break, take advantage of the extra time you have to rest, recharge, and engage in activities that you enjoy—whether that’s spending time outdoors, connecting with family and friends, going on a fabulous vacation, or simply sleeping in or unplugging for a bit. Hopefully, after spring break, we'll be ready to channel our renewed energy into school and hit the ground running to finish the year strong!
