Two weeks from today is the end of the 1st grading period.  Students, make sure all assignments are turned in and you are checking your grades often. Good luck to our girls golf team at regionals tomorrow and students don't forget our Homecoming dance is tomorrow from 7-9.

Attention SENIORS and families - 

The 2027–2028 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now officially open! 

LHS is partnering with INvestEd Indiana to host a Financial Aid Information Session and FAFSA Completion Workshop on Monday, October 26, 2026, in the LHS Media Center at 5:30 pm. 

Please bring a Chromebook or laptop and join us for help and information from these financial aid experts!

Homecoming dance is tomorrow, September 26 from 7:00-9:00PM. Please enter through door 15 in the back of the school. Reminder if you leave the dance early for any reason, you will NOT be permitted back into the building. 

Any Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior or Senior need to make sure your class dues are paid. $20 per year. Please pay your class sponsor. 

LHS Softball is doing a yard sign fundraiser!

There are signs for all sports, one for Seniors, and one for a general supporter!

Chromebook Insurance is highly recommended and still available to purchase for the 2026-27 school year. The required form is available in the LHS Office. Students may pick up the form in the LHS Media Center.   The cost is $40 per Chromebook, and payment may be sent to school with the student. Cash or checks written to Lapel High School are accepted in the LHS Office during school hours.
