College Go Week is next week!

As a part of the Indiana College GO! Campaign, participating institutions around the state waive their application fees, allowing students to apply for free. College Application Week will run from September 21-25, 2026. During this week, we will take time to support all students, especially seniors, in this exciting time in their lives. While College Application Week might be for seniors, Indiana College GO! is for ALL ages! We will use this time to inform students about their choices after high school. It is never too early for students to think about what they want their future to look like. This year, over 30 institutions around the state are participating in College Application Week! Yard Sign Fundraiser for Softball

LHS Softball is doing a yard sign fundraiser!
There are signs for all sports, one for Seniors, and one for a general supporter!

Annual Pink Out Volleyball Game

The volleyball team is hosting their annual pink-out game this coming Thursday, September 24th. Please mark your calendars and come out and support! 
 

Lapel Show Choir Debut

The Lapel Show Choir will make its debut at the Lions Club Fish Fry this Saturday, September 19, at 7:30.
After having lost 20 seniors,  I am happy to say the "new kids on the block" have done a great job learning music
and choreography.  We'd love to see you in the audience.
 

Class Dues and Homecoming Dance

Any Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior or Senior need to make sure your class dues are paid. $20 per year. Please pay your class sponsor.
Future dates- Homecoming dance will be  next Saturday, September 26 from 7:00-9:00PM. 
 

Chromebook Insurance

Chromebook Insurance is highly recommended and still available to purchase for the 2026-27 school year. The required form is available in the LHS Office. Students may pick up the form in the LHS Media Center.   The cost is $40 per Chromebook, and payment may be sent to school with the student. Cash or checks written to Lapel High School are accepted in the LHS Office during school hours.
